We are trying to locate the burial sites of early relatives that were buried in the Chatfield area, but were buried on their own property between 1861 and 1884. Is there some one who would have records that would contain that information? We are planning to come to Chatfield Aug 1 and Aug 2. Sorry for the last minute notice. The family name is Odell.(Gardner died 1861; and William Perry died Sept 28,1884 ) Thank you so much 1

My 2nd great grandfather is Levi Bemis. I noticed he was on your cemetery walk several years ago. How can I find out more about him - and maybe get a transcript of what was said about him?
Thanks!
Wondering if anyone had information in regards to the Glover family. My grandfather was Dell Glover (lived in Utica) and had several brothers (Earl was one of them) and mother’s name was Ida Morey Glover.
Looking for family history, stories, etc. and/or anyone with a family tree.
Thank you!
Mark: The town was named after a Judge named Chatfield, if that helps.
Looking for information about George D. Hughes family. He grew up in Freeman, Freeborn County, MN, and was married to Olive York, 01 Feb. 1876. George and Olive moved a lot after their marriage.

I bought a silhuette picture on wood by Harvey Bernard at our antique shop today. It is a picture of a man plowing with a horse drewn implement. I saw the name and town stamped on the back of the board. I have never heard of Harvey Bernard before. I would like more information. Could you send me something?
Thanks,
Connie Schmidt
Does anybody have any information on Captain Zina B. Chatfield. He and his parents founded the town in 1950. He married a Samantha Chadderdon in 1861. He served as the commander of a black regiment in the Civil War.
If anyone knows relative or knows a geneology, I would appreciate info. I have more info to share and documents I can email. If there is a town historian, I would like to contact them.
