Cowboy Ball and Bar BQ
August 13th, 2004

The Rochester Regional Equestrian Center (RREC) is a non-profit foundation whose vision is to develop a state of the art equestrian campus, complete with indoor and outdoor arena, a warm up area, barns and classrooms for use by students who are enrolled in the Equestrian Program at RCTC, organized club activities, or for hosting horse or other animal shows.

The Cowboy Ball and Bar B-Q, to be held in conjunction with Western Days in Chatfield, Minnesota on Friday, August 13th at the Val A Lodge Crystal Ballroom, will benefit this worthy cause. The Bar B-Q, provided by Famous Dave’s will start at 6:00pm. At 7:00pm country dance lessons will be given by dance champions Brian and Lynette Dawley, the dance to start at 8:00pm. An RS Saddle donated by Ryan Simon Tack, and a bridle and breast collar donated by Donn’s Leather will be just some of the live auction items. There will also be a silent auction, and a raffle for items including a John Deere lawn mower or sno-blower, along with other great horse and non-horse related items.

Tickets will be sold in advance for $15.00 for both the dinner and the dance at Rochester Feed and Pets, 3434 Marion Road SE, Hoffman Tack in Preston, Cowpokes Western Wear in Kellogg, and the VAL – A Lodge in Chatfield. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $18.00 the night of the event. Dance tickets only will be $10.00 at the door.
